<br> The skies of Tokyo glistened, and two teens just laid on the roof
of one of the many houses in Minato. The district was a bit more idle
when the moon had taken the place of the sun. And even so, the sky was
still beautiful, even with Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo fully lit. <br> “Doesn’t the sky look like it’s full of tears?” A girl asked,
sitting by her window with a brush in hand staring up at the thousands
of stars in the night sky, “And they’re all just glistening…”
<br> “I think it looks more like gems,” A second girl noted, with
another brush, seeming to sit on the bed while she studied the other
girl. The first one stuck her tongue out at her friend.
<br>
“That’s because jewelry is so common for you, Naru-chan!” The first girl giggled, and Naru laughed also.
<br> “I know, Usagi-chan! My mom has such a cool job being able to sell
such pretty jewels!” Naru continued to giggle, but Usagi sighed,
looking back out the window.
<br>

“One day I wanna get married, and wear a pretty ring…”
<br> “Well, you could wear a diamond on your finger! It’ll look like a
star!” Naru moved toward the edge of the bed, but Usagi didn’t move.
<br>
“Yeah….I could wear a star…a tear of the sky…” She whispered, almost lost in her thoughts.
<br>
“But what about the moon?” Naru seemed to ask, leading Usagi to snap out of her trance, turning to Naru.
<br>
“What about it?” She seemed confused, unable to comprehend what she was talking about.
<br> “Well, the moon could look like a broach… or a pearl!” Naru
squealed, “You could wear a broach with a crescent moon just like
Sailor V! And it would be made of mother of pearl, so that it looks so
sliver and glistens!”
<br>
“And then it could have rubies and emeralds, and sapphires, and gold on it!” Usagi smiled, imagining the broach in her mind.

<br> “And then a pink pearl in the middle1” The two girls seemed to
sigh in wonder, their fantasy of the gem seemed like merely a dream.
<br>
“Yeah…I want a broach just like that….” Usagi whispered, “And a ring to match…”
<br>
“But it would be so expensive!” Naru stated, “Maybe a few-”
<br>
“My boyfriend will buy it for me!” Usagi nodded, “And he’ll be smart and rich and attractive, and-”
<br> “Just like a prince charming!” The two said together, giggling
when they realized that they were speaking in unison. And yet for the
rest of the night, neither spoke again.
