Junia’s Promise

Part One: Back to the Future

The Imperial Guard pulled into the Jupiter Drive Yards a week after the return of Minako Aino and the time traveling crew. Kevin had left shortly before the Senshi battling Helios disappeared into the future. His campaign against the Kartonian Empire had proven successful, though it had taken much longer than necessary. His galaxy had almost degenerated into a civil war because of the Kanoria-Kartonia dispute.

Kanoria was the name of the star system where the planet Guardia, third planet of four, spun in orbit around a yellow star. Guardia was one of two homeworlds though, as Earth of that galaxy was the other. The official name of the unity was the Federation of the Guardian Republic but it was also known as the Kanorian Republic. However, all this is irrelevant to the current situation. Kevin was sitting in his command chair hoping to resume his duties as Jupiter Knight, and spend time with the one he loved and vowed to protect.

“I think soon I will give up my position as High Chancellor Admiral and just settle down with the woman I love.” He said out loud which prompted Natalie Portalis, his second in command, to look at him.

“We both know that no matter what, you won’t be fully happy unless you’re leading a fleet, plunging head first into the heat of a battle… but then I could be wrong.” She shrugged her shoulders and laughed which brought a few snickers from some of the other bridge officers.

Kevin ignored those snickers however and looked at Natalie with a smile. “Mako-chan has changed me. I’m not the same war mongering fool I was ten years ago.”

“Yet you couldn’t resist the urge to rush against the Kartonians when you could have stayed home fighting off some no-name youma at home.” She laughed at the irony of the comment.

“Well, I’m sure things have been quite boring since we’ve been away, but now the Sailor Knights are back and the fleet is home where it belongs.” Kevin beamed with pride which brought more laughter from Natalie.

“Yes, around the gas giant planet for which you get your powers from… Jupiter Knight. You would have a very interesting resume.” She thought of a list less than American politically correct to fit Kevin.

“Sir, your starfighter is primed for launch. New Tokyo International Airport has been informed of your intentions to land…” The pointy eared communications officer hesitated.

“I don’t like that hesitation, Riverdance.”

“Well sir, they rather you land at Atsugi or Yokota since it is a military vessel you’re flying…”

“Hell no! I’m not landing at a military base. If Narita doesn’t want to deal with the extra plane than call Haneda. It’s closer anyhow to where I want to go… you know what, forget that order. Gather the Sailor Knights in the war room.” Kevin didn’t show any frustration but he had a plan.

“There you go again, preparing to attack…” Natalie started up but Kevin quickly put up his hand, which quieted her quickly.

“No, I’m going to have them help me get back to Earth without that hassle. The Sailor Teleport works for the Sailor Knights too you know.” Natalie once again laughed and shrugged her shoulder, understanding what Kevin intended to accomplish. “When the other Sailor Knights get here, tell them to head to Earth. I intend to head out with Kellie, Carlos, and Shea.”

“Yes sir... It’ll be quiet without you here.” She smiled as he walked off the bridge.

An hour later, Kevin’s feet were on solid planetary ground again as the four Sailor Knights teleported to the middle of Yoyogi park. They were met up with another who teleported just ahead of them. “What took you? I had enough time to get a hotdog and enjoy a sunrise.”

“Ah shudup Morisato. Just because you were a former Dark General, doesn’t mean you can rub in your teleportation abilities in our face.” Shea Talloy looked at the brown haired Japanese man with contempt.

“Ah but it’s so fun to do. Besides, you four can teleport too… sometimes together, or with the help of tech.” He started to laugh which brought an angry face from the tall brown haired Californian.

“If you weren’t Kevin’s future brother, by virtue of being Makoto’s brother, I would beat you down right here, right now.” Shea’s fist crumpled into balls, but Morisato paid him no mind.

“Well, before that happens, Morisato and I have to go check on Mako-chan. Kellie, make sure Shea doesn’t do anything rash. Carlos, find Megumi and Ryoko. I have a feeling I will need to speak to those two soon.” The two Sailor Knights nodded and went their separate ways.

Another hour later, the two stepped off the Toei-Oedo Subway line from Yoyogi at Azabu-Juban station. They both stretched and smiled at the familiar site that it brought. Azabu-Juban was a small district in Tokyo, but it was home for them both.

“It’s been too long since we have seen the familiar streets, eh Kevin?”

“Yeah man, too long indeed. I hope Mako-chan isn’t too pissed at us.” The two nodded in agreement as they walked to the apartment building the Makoto resided in. They both knew she was not the woman anyone wanted to make angry.

A little while later, the two made it to the apartment room that she resided in and Kevin took out the key and opened the door. When they opened it, it seemed as though no one had been there for a long time. They both looked at each other and took out their laser rifles… for all the good it would do, and started clearing room after room in typical police style.

“She’s not here!” Kevin exclaimed after coming up to her room.

“Not here either, nor is there any evidence of foul play here.” Morisato took a good look around the kitchen and went back to the entrance. “I wonder if our cells still work?”

“They should. We have them on a different frequencies from the major cell carriers. I'll call Hotaru-onee-chan and see if she knows anything.” Kevin took out his cell phone and pushed a few buttons that would connect him to Hotaru.

“Moshi-moshi?” A female voice answered.

“Hotaru-onee-chan, it’s me Kevin. I just got back from that long war.”

“Oh Kevin-onee-san, welcome back! It’s good to hear you again. Is everything alright?”

“She’s gone… missing Hotaru-chan.” Kevin’s face seemed to sour at that statement.

“Who’s missing?” Hotaru’s concern was obviously showing by this point.

“Mako-chan…” Kevin was near tears at this point.

“That’s because she got pulled into the future.” Kevin went speechless when she said this. “Usagi-chan and her guardians had a fight with a very powerful Helios. The resulting battle render Helios neutralized for the most part but it opened some kind of tear in the space-time continuum, pulling the five into Crystal Tokyo.” Kevin’s eyes got big and Morisato started to sweat after watching Kevin’s expression.

“What’s wrong Kevin? Did Sharline manage to capture her again?”

Kevin shook his head in disagreement. “She’s… she’s in… the future… Crystal Tokyo… to be exact…”

“Oh kuso! That’s going to present a problem.” Morisato didn’t have to look at Kevin to know that he fully agreed.

“It gets better you two. Usagi-chan used Galaxia’s power bracelets to steal her star seed… along with Ami-chan and Rei-chan. Minako-chan however escaped that fate thanks to some interference.”

“How do you know all this?” Kevin finally asked Hotaru while almost squeezing his cell phone.

“Because I went to the future with Jedite and Dr. Xadium. I think Zeus maybe hiding out somewhere… but I don’t know where. He might be in the future or in the present.” This prompted Kevin to activate his locator and found Zeus’s signal close by.

“He’s hiding out around here apparently. I plan on heading to the future to rescue Mako-chan from her fate.” Kevin thrust his arm into the conviction.

“Be careful, the future is not what we had thought of it before. The Guardian Republic doesn’t command the space ways anymore… or at least around Earth. Crystal Tokyo is not what we thought of the future either. There’s nothing but cos-players for citizens and Crystal Tokyo is surrounded by a powerful force shield.” Hotaru’s voice continued to show major concern for her adopted brother.

“Let me guess, a mix of Kanorian tech and the Ginzoishou.” Kevin’s voice seemed to have calmed down from his earlier situation.

“Yes, I believe so. The city’s only entrances are the surrounding ‘Neo Tokyos’ and a hidden entrance that Minako-chan got us through.”

Morisato started pacing back and forth. Kevin grabbed a pen and paper and started writing down all the information that Hotaru had been telling him. “A hidden entrance can you tell me exactly where it is?”

“I’ll download it to you through your cell phone. That should allow you to find it. However, it has a passcode… one unlike any you or I have ever seen.”

“Hmmm… can Aliana break through it?”

“I don’t know the extent of Sailor Valkyrie’s power but I assume she can. You should know her better than any of us though. She’s your yojimbo… or is she?”

“No she still is, but I guess I better gather the group that will come with me to the future.”

“How do you propose to get there?”

Kevin smiled very tenaciously and prepared to speak his answer. “We haven’t mastered eight of the ten dimensions without benefit. However, I plan on using one of the starships to do the slingshot maneuver at full hyperspace around Sol. If done properly, it’ll propel the ship and her crew into the 30th century.” Morisato looked at Kevin like he was crazy.

“Someone’s been watching too much Star Trek I’m thinking.”

“Not really, because we’ll be forming a chronoshield around the starship when we do that. The resulting gravity pull should fling us forward in time… or backwards if we choose.” Kevin noticed a cloud of smoke appear and trained his weapon on it.

“I sent Jedite to help you out. He might be able to help you out tactically… since he tried to invade Crystal Tokyo using the cosplayers for his army.” Jedite then appeared and had a smug look on his face.

“Hello Jedite, long time no freeze eh?”

“Bite me Morisato. Kevin, I have one question for you. Why? Why do you want to go into the future just for one girl… a Sailor Senshi at that.”

“Because I made a promise to her, to protect her no matter what the cost. That promise extends through time… and because I love her. Do you really think a female could replace her in my heart?”

“Or her talent, I assume you mean.” Jedite’s sarcasm didn’t go unnoticed as Morisato balled his fist and prepared to lunge at his former Dark General partner.

“Don’t talk about my sister like that!”

“It sounds like Morisato and Jedite are about to kill each other.” Hotaru could hear all the commotion through the cell phone.

“Yeah.” Kevin then interposed himself between the two former Dark Generals. “Enough! Jedite, are you going to help me or not?”

“You could have any female you wanted… even those half-neko girls in your military yet you choose only one. Some dedication, but then after your war against Sharline just to get her back… I shouldn’t be surprised.”

“You still haven’t answered my question.”

“Of course! I have a bone to pick with that damn queen anyhow. Helping you might just help me get some revenge.” Just then there was a knock on the door and two Japanese females stepped in. One had long brown hair that was tied like Aries from FF7 and was wearing a two piece dress. The other had long black hair that was loose except at the end where a scrunchie held the hair together and was wearing dark color jeans and shirt.

“Megumi Chiyuno and Ryoko Nasino. It’s good to see you both here.” Morisato answered for Kevin who was still glaring at Jedite and waiting for anything Hotaru might say.

“That’s not all who showed up.” A male voice piped and in came a short black haired American with glasses in loose fitting attire. He was then preceded by a very tall Russian with blond hair… similar to Haruka’s. After that an American female with short brown hair with a hair piece walked in with a very distinct grace. She was wearing a semi revealing blouse and a short skirt.

“Ah, this is a surprise to see Dusty Bond, Alex Tenoh, and Aliana Johnson here too!” Megumi said cheerfully as she tried to get close to Kevin.

“It seems we have a strike force now.” Morisato beamed with pride now as he interposed himself between Megumi and Kevin. “With three Sailor Knights, three Sailor Senshi, and two former Dark Generals, even Queen Serenity II will have her hands full.”

“Thanks Hotaru-onee-chan. You wouldn’t want to come with us would you?”

“I’m exhausted from the last time I went. Perhaps Haruka will prove useful too you?”

“As long as she doesn’t get drunk, I think we shouldn’t have a problem.” The eight warriors gathered in a circle in Makoto’s living room. Jedite was attempting to sneak away to Makoto’s bedroom when Alex’s arm shot out and grabbed the Dark General off the floor.

“Just where you think you going?” Alex said in a heavy Russian dialect.

“I was just trying to find something.”

“Been taking lessons from Happosai? I know exactly the two things you look for pervert.” The Russian saw Jedite struggle in his grip, but he didn’t let go. “That’s not your business what I do in talent-no-senshi’s room.”

“You do well not to antagonize Kevin even more so than he already is. The war was a long hard one and he wants to be with his fiancée. I can understand his frustration, anger, and determination.” Alex then let go of Jedite who seemed less intent on finding out Makoto’s secrets.

“Zeus, come out from hiding… I have food.” Kevin enticed and a not-so-shiny gold furred cat crawled out from underneath Kevin and Makoto’s bed. He looked a bit scraggily and his step seemed to have little direction. Kevin immediately saw him and scooped up the poor cat in hands. “Zeus, what happened? What’s wrong, why are you in this condition?”

“Kevin-san… is that you… I thought I would… die for sure… Makoto-san’s been missing for a while now… I can’t believe how dirty this place has become…”

“Save your strength Zeus. We’ll get you to my ship where you can be healed and get a decent meal. As for the rest of us, all Senshi and Knighs form the circle… we’re Sailor Teleporting. Former Dark Generals, I trust you can teleport to the Guard?”

“Need you really ask, O fearless leader?”

The door to the apartment swung open again and a lone tall blond female stood there. “you weren’t planning on ditching me now were you?” Haruka Tenoh, Sailor Uranus, shook her head and took her place in the circle.

“Good to see you made it cousin.” Alex nodded to Haruka.

“I heard they had Lager and the highly potent Rythin Whiskey on that battleship. Of course I’m in.” Haruka started to think how quickly it would take for her to get sloshed.

“Haruka, this is a rescue mission, not a drinking foray. However, if we are successful, I will personally open you a bottle of Rythin Whiskey.”

“Great, Sailor Ur-Anus has joined us.” Jedite mused drawing the irking faces from Haruka and Alex. Before anymore damage could be done though, both Dark Generals teleported away. The others than went though the ritual of initiating the Sailor Teleport, allowing the small group to instantly teleport towards the Imperial Guard.

Twenty minutes later, the “strike-force” met in the Imperial Guard’s war room. He couldn’t believe he was about to make war on the future just for the sake of his lady. This is the same person who almost made war on an entire galaxy because of Sharline’s attempts to kidnap and subsequently marry Makoto. “I can’t take an entire fleet into the future with me, and there’s no telling if they would be effective anyhow, nor do I have the resources to be able to do so. However there is a ship with the capabilities to be able to take care of us until we decide to give our position.

“The Silence Glaive is the newest ship in the Guardian Republic’s arsenal. It has an experimental high power undetectable cloaking device and a chronometric shield which, when used with the sling shot theory, will allow the ship to go forward or backward in time when activated. Both will be necessary to complete this mission. I plan on putting everyone here in harm’s way, just so I can resume my mission of protecting Kino Makoto…”

Natalie Portalis stepped up to her Admiral’s side. “I was there when they assassinated Anri Hamasako… or in the tradition of the Japanese style, Hamasako Anri. I will not stand idly by, practically while you essentially go through the same thing again, nor would any true solder or sailor of the Republic do so. We all have your backs, no matter if the rest of the Sailor Senshi or Knights chose to do nothing.”

Irked by this direct attack, Haruka stepped up alongside of her and looked at Kevin. “I rather do my own speaking before someone else says I’m going to do nothing. I’ve seen what you’ve done in the past to save her… You truly love her and I for one can’t stand by and watch a friend tear himself apart over this injustice. What good is being a Sailor Senshi if I don’t uphold truth and justice? You have the power of Uranus beside you Kevin.”

“I agree with cousin, the power of Uranus stands by Jupiter on his one.” The Russian accent of Alex seemed to be a bit heavier then normal.

“Where Kev-chan goes, I go. The healing powers of Eden are at your disposal.” Megumi seemed very serious instead of her normal happy-go-lucky self.

“Kevin, you have been a good friend to me and have truly understood the dark powers of my truly are. You will have need for the Nemesian power of the Shadows. I intend to repair the name and respect of my planet that Wiseman corrupted and twisted.” Ryoko bowed her head to Kevin, who promptly returned the bow.

“To make sure our chronometric shield works and gets us to the future, I will accompany you Kevin. Have I ever let you down before?” Dusty smiled which drew a laugh from Kevin who patted his friend on the back.

“Some yojimbo I be if I didn’t go with the one I swore to protect. Of course I’m with you Kevin, just say the word.” Aliana’s warm words almost brought a tear to Kevin’s eye… almost.

“Though my only concern is for Ali’s safety,” Ian stepped forward from his console. “I will offer my services at your disposal. Whatever you ask of Ali, you may ask of me as well. I will remain here on standby for orders.”

“I want revenge on that damned queen and if taking away a precious Senshi of hers would hurt her, than it’s the least I can do.” Everyone looked at Jedite who returned their looks. “What?!”

“Though I don’t do this out of revenge, I do out of respect of my sister. What would my mom and dad say if I didn’t do something to help my sister out. My future brother-in-law, let’s go to the future and rescue her from her fate.” Morisato put his arm around Kevin’s shoulders and the two embraced as brothers.

“Thank you everyone. Natalie, would you come with me to Silence Glaive though it means the top two from Imperial Guard won’t be there?”

“Of course Kevin. You need command structure and that ship has a crew… not a command crew. Besides, Imperial Guard has Barkonis in charge…”

“He’s in charge actually of the ground forces coming with us. No, looks like Commander Jenn Polis is in charge.” Kevin shook his head at that.

“You mean half-neko girl? Oh Sundance is going to love that.” Natalie started to laugh at Aliana’s comment but Kevin dismissed it.

“I don’t care what his personal preferences are. I need her in charge since the big three are leaving. Get the Emerald Knights that are onboard onto the Silence Glaive. Make sure all the systems are operational too, from weapons, to tractor beams, the black hole shields, and of course all the essential items necessary. We leave in an hour from the JDY to Sol for preparation of the sling shot maneuver.”

“Not a lot of time Kevin, but I shall make sure the preparations are completed. That Saturn class battle cruiser was just about ready to enter the war too but it had to end without her being tested. How appropriate she be the one on the front lines of our latest war.” Natalie shook her head but Kevin looked at her questioningly.

“Like I said before, I hate going to war everyday…”

“But going to war for love, Kevin you know that’s truly the best and most honorable reason.” Morisato took up the mantle for Natalie.

“Didn’t Troy fall because of that?” Dusty made sure to remind everyone.

“Yes, but they fell to the attackers. And I’m not looking to conquer, I’m looking to save the one I love. Crystal Tokyo will not be razed to the ground, and it’s not like we have the forces to take the palace anyhow with only one ship. This is a rescue operation only, so keep your thoughts clear on the true objective.”

On board the Silence Glaive an hour later, Kevin and Natalie were on the bridge. The bridge was much different from that of the Imperial Guard. Instead of a bridge that showed only the space around the ship, the bridge had multiple view screens. When not in use, the area around the bridge was quite visible. The command crew that would ultimately be responsible for the ship, had entered the bridge and took the respective places, except the future XO and CO which was be taken over by Admiral Junia and Captain Portalis.

“Natalie, inform the JDY of our departure intent. Prepare to initiate the experimental Interplanetary Drive.”

“Aye sir. Ensign Ty’rho clear us from docking bay, proceed then outbound to Jupiter high orbit.”

“Yesssssss ma’am.” The Doomin male lizard hissed and complied with the order. “Moving at .2 thrussssss… we’re clear of the docking clampssssss.”

“Initiating Interplanetary Drive in five, four, three, two… engaging!” The ship the propelled itself at a high rate of speed away from the planet Jupiter.

At Sol, the Silence Glaive came out of interplanetary drive at a distance equal to half the distance from Sol to Mercury. Kevin stood on the bridge and looked at the Helms officer. “Charge the chronometric shield and prepare for full hyper speed!”

“Charging, shield is now at seventy two percent and rising.” The tactical officer told Kevin while the Doomin lizard Helms officer set the course for the slingshot effect.

“Ssssir, the sssship issss ready for Hypersssssspace…”

“Initiate then… now!” The helms officer complied and pushed the button to launch the ship into hyperspace. Just as the ship started to feel the full gravitational pull of Sol, the shield reached maximum power which Kevin looked to the tactical officer. “Set year for late 30th century, about two weeks after the others showed up.” He looked at the group who was eyeing him. “It’s tactically smarter, they won’t predict this and will have lowered their guard some. I don’t want to sacrifice lives just for this mission.”

“To the thirtieth century then!” The ship full hyper speed as it came around Sol and shot out of the early 21st century like a rock from a slingshot… disappearing from all present day scanners.

It dropped out of hyperspace, right into a hornet’s nest it seemed. The area was full of starships… not Guardian Republic though as far as Kevin could tell. “Initiate the cloaking device. Let’s stay hidden until we can get to Earth.” The ship complied with Kevin’s request it seemed and the ship shut off unnecessary lighting and external transmitting devices, to even more lower the chances of being spotted by these unknown ships. “Steady as she goes to Earth.”

It took twelve more hours to get to Earth but that was only to assure that detection was avoided. There a lot of starships around in the inner Sol System which worried Kevin a bit. However his long range sensors picked up the JDY… apparently it wasn’t abandoned and was still firing a Guardian Republic IFF. That was good because that meant there were still some Kanorians in system should things get too ugly and he needed to pull into a friendly dock.

“We won’t reveal our position to them until absolutely necessary. I’m not sure how they would greet the first High Chancellor Admiral of the new Guardian Republic.”

“Sir, we are entering Earth orbit. We should be fine here as most of the ships are in a higher orbit than us.”

“Must be the lack of technology that forces them to remain in high orbit.” Natalie turned to Kevin who agreed by nodding his head.

“Sir the CMS Serenity II, CMS Crystal Millennium, CMS Ginzoishou, USS Dauntless, USS Dallas, and USS Del Rio are in close orbit to us and they’re picking up strange readings around us. I think they may know we are here.” The communication officer hadn’t taken his eyes off the comm screen while relaying the message.

“Re-adjusting the cloak… there, the cloak is fully operational again. Seems we had some holes for a second or two. They won’t see us again unless we allow them too.”

“Just in case, move us 100 km from our present course. That’ll make sure they definitely know no one’s home.” Natalie looked at the humanoid lizard, who complied with the order.

“That did it, now they’re going back to what they were doing. Looks like the two sides really don’t like each other. They’re blaming the other for the ‘distraction’.”

“Excellent! Gather the alpha strike force in the main transporter room. Have the other four strike teams report to their respective smaller transporter rooms. Make sure the transporter rooms are all locked on the same location.” Kevin turned an left the bridge. Before he did he looked to Natalie and smiled. “You have the bridge Portalis.”

“Aye sir. Godspeed to you, your friends, and the strike force…”

To be continued…

Sean, the Elder Earl of Titan, was in his manor, sitting alone in his personal study reading through his personal logs from years past. The door to the room opened with a slight creak as his only son Nickolas poked his head in, but Sean made no motion to acknowledge the boy’s entrance.

“Pop…” Nick called out to his distant father. “Pop…something weird is happening. Earth and Moon are calling in lots of strange reports. Pop?” Sean still made no motion to answer his son. Nick was about to turn and leave when his father suddenly stood up out of his chair and turned his head toward the nearest window.

“Someone…” Sean muttered. “Someone is coming here…no, they are here…now.”

“Pops?” Nick looked up curiously at his father. “Who is here?”

“Nickolas, remember what I taught you,” Sean replied, his face was stone cold and serious. “Go stand ready to give the order to the sentries. I’m going outside to meet our…visitors. Remember, if anything happens…”

“I remember, Pops,” Nick nodded and ran down the hall to his post. Sean moved from his study and out to the main hall leading to the Manor’s great front door. Someone was in his courtyard, that much he was sure of…but as to who it was, Sean was determined to find out one way or another. He kept his Silence and flame at the ready and opened the great door and cautiously stepped outside. His sharp eyes scanned his estate, looking for movement or details out of place.

“Intruder upon my land,” Sean daringly called out. “You have already been detected by my sentries and I am aware of your presence. Be you friend or foe of the Earth and Moon, I will give you timely quarter in my house. Show yourself and surrender without incident otherwise, I cannot guarantee my Saturnian hospitality.” Sean waited for a response, all the while praying to the spirits in the back of his mind.

“Rhea…” His mind echoed his prayer. “Watch over us…protect us with you holy golden flame…” Movement then caught his eye and he flashed his gaze in the immediate direction and his Fire and Ice Rapier appeared in his hand. He raised the weapon and pointed it where he spied the intruder’s shadow.

“You…can it be…?” Sean’s dark eyes suddenly lit up when he saw the face of his ally.

On Jupiter, another had recognized also the significance of what was happening. "If the history books are correct.. Time to head to Crystal Tokyo." The pony-tailed girl entered a high speed shuttle and took off towards Earth.

Part Two: To Lure the Crystal Army

"Ma'am, all transporters have been cleared successfully. The strike force is now on the surface around what we've designated Neo-Tokyo Tango.” The ship security officer looked to Natalie who nodded.

"Excellent. Good luck Kevin, Barkonis, and all our brave friends down there. May the power of the Guardians protect you all." She sat down in the command chair and waited. “Ian, status report on the surrounding starships around us please.”

“So far…” Ian looked over the consoles. “They are maintaining their course of patrol. We sparked their interest with that sloppy display when we first arrived, and it’s got them on edge, but they don’t seem daring enough to wander too far from their designated territories at this time.”

Sean, the Elder Earl of Titan, was in his manor, sitting alone in his personal study reading through his personal logs from years past. The door to the room opened with a slight creak as his only son Nickolas poked his head in, but Sean made no motion to acknowledge the boy’s entrance.

On Jupiter, another had recognized also the significance of what was happening. "If the history books are correct... Time to head to Crystal Tokyo." The pony-tailed girl entered a high speed shuttle and took off towards Earth.

The shuttle's interplanetary drive kicked off between the Silence Glaive and the Serenity II. "This is Jupiter Royal shuttle Jovius Royitus to Crystal Tokyo control requesting immediate landing permission."

"Jovius, please state your intentions."

"I'm on route for a diplomatic mission on behalf of the Jupiter King." The girl lied to the attendant and waited.

"We have no record of such a mission today."

"That's because this is a spur of the moment thing. I need permission immediately so I may conduct business with the Crystal Millennium Neo-Queen, Serenity II.” The pilot hoped they wouldn’t question her much longer as every minute she lost, was another minute less that she had to meet up with the ones who would change the past and present.

“Shuttle Jovius, you been cleared to land at Crystal Tokyo Star Port in Neo Tokyo 12. Show the gate attendants your Jupiter paperwork and they’ll let you bypass that long lines. Safe landings Jupiter Ambassador.”

“Thank you for your help, Jovius Royitus out.” The Jupiter female thrust the controls forward causing the shuttle to lurch forward. In a matter of minutes she will have landed and would be able to start her own quest. As she came into the atmosphere, she could see the shield protecting the once famed city of Crystal Tokyo. She was able to see the havoc and destruction that had been caused when Jedite had turned the city into a war-zone. However, it was only small area compared to the wide-spread destruction that had been caused only a few weeks ago. As she passed over the wall, she could have sworn she saw a huge buildup of people in uniforms. She blew it off as if it had been nothing at all. “Must be going crazy...”

“Did you think it saw us?” Megumi asked, referring to the Jupiter shuttle that had just passed overhead.

“I’m not sure, but now we must hurry to the secret entrance... and there it is.” Kevin removed the scouter off his eye and pointed to a part of the wall. “The pad is just to the right of that door. Aliana, if you please...”

“Leave it to the master. Ah, what would you do without me?”

“They probably do it the old fashion way while I would’ve wrecked unholy devastation on it.” Jedite stood there proudly remembering his accomplishments until Kevin, Morisato, and Alex all looked at him. “WHAT?!!”

“It is mostly your fault that we in situation like this Jedite.” The Russian looked at him in such a way he started to cower a little. Just when the strike force thought things would degenerate further the secret entrance opened and Aliana reappeared.

“Phhhtt... you think Usagi and Ami would have came up with some better defenses.” Aliana looked quite pleased with herself.

“I think they built it without you in mind there Valkyrie.” Ryoko smiled at her Sailor Senshi counterpart, who smiled in return.

“Alright, squad one and two are with me. We’ll form a perimeter when we get inside for the High Chancellor Admiral. Remember, are job is not to kill... only to neutralize.” The Canisian Dog Warrior, General Barkonis, moved forward with about twenty forces. He had a laser rifle in hand and walked into the abyss that was the secret entrance. When he came out though, there were two guards just standing there.

“Yeah, did you see that dodge ball game last night? I didn’t think the Crystal Tokyo Imperials had a chance but I guess a lucky catch against Akita’s star player Tyhron allowed them that victory.” The first one said to the obviously not caring second.

“Who cares? It’s all about that team from Buenos Aires in Astroball. They took out that Neo New York City...” Barknois came up behind him and knocked him in the back of the neck. The guard fell like a ton of bricks into the ground as Barknois went to the next guard.

“What about them Sasuki? Sasuki...” The guard turned around to see the tall dog warrior in front of him. “Ah why me... A Canisian outside of Jupiter? Who are you?” He was punched out by Barknois who shook his head.

“The sugar man...”

“Sir, I believe that’s Sandman.” One of the soldiers spoke up.

“Yeah, your probably right but I didn’t study up on my Terran legends.” He then pointed to the two soldiers which was the cue for the squads to do what they were suppose to. In a matter of seconds, the two sentries were tied up and hidden away in an alley while the squads secured the area. “Sir, guards neutralized and ground secured.”

The rest of the strike force came through within a minute and started looking around.

“Excellent work Barkonis. Remember the plan, draw out the Crystal Army away from the Crystal Palace. If Sailor Jupiter attacks us, cover me. I alone will face her...”

“Ah yes, Jupiter Knight will face the one adversary he’s never beat: Sailor Jupiter, the love of his life.” Jedite stared to mock Kevin but Morisato stepped up.

“He just never wanted to hurt her, physically or in any other way. I will also face against her, to make sure Kevin has the necessary advantage. Also, we don’t know if Mars and Mercury are the only other Senshi the Neo-Queen has in her arsenal. It could be possible she might have the present day Outer Senshi in her control as well... Maybe even Jedite and myself...”

“She has only has her primary three guardians with her. If there are others... it is unlikely they are in the area. The Satellite Senshi and Asteroid Senshi won’t become prominent yet.” Dusty crossed his arms shaking his head. “Be careful though as Galaxies bracelets are still very dangerous and can very much turn you into her slave just like your girlfriend and the other Senshi.”

“Alright, what’s the best way to draw out an army without destroying people’s homes?” Megumi looked at the newly rebuilt area of the crystal city.

“We move in and start drawing as much attention to ourselves as possible. Wave the Guardian Republic flags and start shooting our rifles indiscriminately.” This caused every single soldier, Sailor Senshi, Knight, or General to look at each other, but not one person knew where the voice was coming from... until they looked down.

“Aries? What are you doing here kitty? Aren’t you supposed to be with Kellie?” Kevin looked at the red furred cat, who jumped on his shoulder and started purring.

“To your first and last question, yes I am. As for your second, with Zeus neutralized, you need me... his wife with you.” The female cat purred louder as her tail whipped around Kevin’s face.

“Okay, we’re taking orders from a cat? Believe me; people will think we are just a bunch of cosplayers trying to stand out more. If you want to cause real trouble, you’ll have to destroy buildings and start offing people.” Jedite smugly smiled at his own assessment.

“Look, we are not the bad guys, you included Jedite. We are not taking out structures and killing people just to draw out their military. Do we attack a military facility or do we start taking over buildings lowering the Moon Kingdom flag and replacing it with our own?” Morisato looked to Kevin for that answer.

“We can’t win by attacking the Crystal Palace. We have no chance of victory from that point... and it would hinder other efforts. Calling attention to ourselves may not get the desired results we want. We wanted to grab their attention by neutralizing one of the traveling Moon Kingdom brigades. This would cause them to send out more of their forces. If we started unleashing our powers, it’s obvious their primary generals will show up. If I know Usagi, she’ll use her friends to lead those armies, and she will probably come out herself to investigate fully. Those four however can turn the tide of any battle. Our only mission is to draw out and hold off for as long as we can the army they send at us. We are only to use neutralizing, not killing tactics. I’m not here to start a war across time.” Kevin showed on a viewer as he outlined his plan. This hadn’t changed from his what he outlined before, but he was kind of hoping that showing military tactics would be picked up at the many cameras he knew lined the streets of Crystal Tokyo. “Alright, General Barkonis, lead the way towards the Crystal Castle!”

“Yes sir! You heard him ladies! Urban style clearing and marching! Move, move, move!” The entire strike force, save Kevin and the other main heroes marched as Barkonis followed them down the street.

Kevin looked at the Senshi then had a cock-eyed look on his face. “Where are Ryoko and Aliana?”

“They’ve been gone since we cracked that secret password, Kev-chan.” Megumi looked at Kevin as if he was already supposed to know. Kevin started to fume wondering if the two deserted him, but then thought the better of it.

The shadows seemed to move as someone stepped out of them. “Ah Sean-chan you haven’t lost it... in the time I haven’t seen you.” Ryoko smiled as she fully stepped out of the shadows. “However, as for surrender, you should already know that’s not possible.”

“Ryo-chan?” Sean took a good long look at his not so old friend. “I haven’t seen you since we parted ways back on Earth. Either the years have been good to you…or there’s been meddling with the door of time again…”

“Ryoko,” Aliana appeared giving Sean a bit of a surprise. “We don’t have time to fool around with relics of the past. We have a mission to accomplish and I doubt he can help us.”

“Is that really a way to speak to an old friend,” Sean yielded his stance and put his rapier away. “After all these years, have I really become just that? A relic from the past?” He signaled his house to return to their minimal alert status and posts.

Aliana looked to Sean and bowed slightly. “So how’s the position of Earl treating you? I wish we had more time, but surrender is not option... and is Saturn really hospitable when their primary attack is the ‘Silence’.” Aliana started to laugh a little.

“Ah Aliana, do you have to be so mean?”

“Ryoko, I’m only doing your job since your not doing it... Ah, actually Sean, perhaps you can help us.”

“It is our primary attack,” Sean concurred. “However, it is our primary defense as well. I’ll have you know right now that Saturn is a neutral territory in all this havoc. Hotaru will have nothing to do with the mad moon queen’s policy or the oppression from Earth, and as Earl of Titan it is my duty to make sure their forces stay well away from our furthest borders. So, my position is no picnic in itself. So, what would you ladies need my help with?”

Nickolas poked his head out the door and peered over to where his father stood talking with the two Senshi Allies. The youth stared daringly at the two ladies, but remained back behind the door.

“Pops?” Nick called from the door. “Pops? What’s happening? Who are they? Are they Allies of Earth and Lunar?” Sean looked back at his son and waved him over.

“They are old friends of mine,” Sean stated to Nick. “I highly doubt at this time they hold their loyalties to either of those territories right now. Ladies, this is my only son, Nickolas. He’s 14 years old and the sole heir to my title and estate.”

“Hi,” Nick stood firmly by his father, but avoided eye contact.

“Hello,” the two said in unison then started to giggle.

“But, let’s get back to business, shall we?” Sean looked up at the women. “What do you need my help with?”

"We need to lure the Crystal Army from the Crystal Palace. The GDF has no interest in starting an interchrono war between the past Guardian Republic and the future Crystal Tokyo." Aliana looked to Sean. "I also assume that Jupiter and Guardia of the future have also remained neutral, but I have no idea who is in charge there. I assume its Kevin and Makoto but I have yet to ascertain that information, and at this moment I don’t really care."

“Very direct Aliana,” Sean quirked a serious eyebrow. “Although where either side holds it’s loyalty at this time, I do not know. Since Jupiter is still an inner territory we hardly communicate to maintain our operational security from being hacked by Lunar craft and militia.”

"You've been taking a page from my book it seems." Ryoko laughed at Aliana's sudden coldness.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. Kevin is looking for his fiancée and has undertaken a very daring mission to rescue her from her current predicament. I assume you probably know what Usagi-san has done to Makoto-san and her two other guardians?"

“I am not clear on the details…” Sean shook his head. “Like I said, we have been in the dark, so to speak, with all internal activities with the Inner planets. However, Usagi’s decent into madness is evident enough that things are becoming dire for those holding any solid allegiance to her. And due to the rumored theft of the senshi star seeds are why we remain separate and neutral…”

"Kevin brought with him a small strike-force to get back Mako-chan's star-seed. However, if the Crystal Army remains in place, any direct assault on the palace will get him and his troops captured or killed. That's why he sent the two of us to get the star seed and lower the shields so we can escape." Ryoko shook her head while wondering what to do.

“So where is young Kev-san now?” Sean looked at Ryoko.

"He's using the rest of the strike-force to help provide a diversion, but we doubt that Usagi will think of them of nothing but Cos-players."

“Indeed,” Sean shook his head then looked at the young women with stern eyes. “And how would you propose going about getting the star seeds necessary to conduct this plan?”

“That’s easy for a ninja... with my abilities. I’m going to take it as soon as Aliana drops the security around it.” Ryoko said very cocky with a smile on her face.

“I will use my powers to infiltrate the main computer and knock down the shields long enough for the task force to escape.” Aliana followed up with more assurance than cockiness.

“You do realize in asking me this…” Sean spoke low and seriously. “You will put our territory at risk of being tagged for treason against the Moon. Even though Saturn stands as a kingdom on its own, the Moon has placed herself like a God over all kingdoms in the Sol. Her madness knows so end.”

“Apparently Jupiter has been hoarding a huge arsenal away from the queen’s eyes. In the future, we believe the Eighth Guardian Star-Defense Fleet is still here and in good condition. I wouldn’t worry about Saturn as long as Jupiter has her back, and since Kevin and Makoto still probably consider Hotaru like a sister, Jupiter will be here with the entire fleet to stop the Lunar Fleet. Unlike Uranus and Neptune, Jupiter has always been a faithful ally, and I wouldn’t ask you this without a guarantee.” Aliana looked to Ryoko who nodded.

“While Nemesis of this time probably has me at the throne again, you can be sure that we will help as well. I can make that promise as the future Queen of the Shadow Planet. Trust me, Dusty told me we still have quite a fleet to batter the Lunar fleets. However, we aren’t asking to invade Crystal Tokyo. We have no point of attacking. We need troops in G.R. uniforms to pose as the past force to draw out more troops.” Ryoko looked at Sean hoping he would help.

“Jedite is with us, but if we use his tactic again... the Queen will surely beat the Allies. We need twenty minutes to draw out the army and grab the star seed. After that, we need to have in our possession Makoto and have her removed from the bracelets power. We can hold off the army easily, we just need to give them a reason to come out.” Aliana looked at the time on the clock as she knew time was not with them on this one.

Sean turned on his heal and walked toward his manor. “I will try to patch in a communiqué to Jupiter. Granted the Lunar fleets will find such activity suspicious, and will try to hack in for their own investigation, but it is worth a try. And I’m sure…the royal house of Jupiter will have no objections in assisting us with this project…if I know Kevin-sama…there’s no doubt.”

“Kevin better not have any objections because it’s his wife and future we are trying to save.” Ryoko huffed a little while crosseing her arms over her chest.

“If you’re worried about the Crystal City tapping into your communications, well I have a few surprises for those nimrods who think they can get something past me.” Aliana smiled which drew another look from Ryoko.

Crazy woman has spent too much time around me... or she’s like this when it comes to a warring situation. I’ve never seen her like this though. Ryoko thought to herself as she tried to think of Aliana’s change.

On Jupiter, General Barkonis was sitting in his usual spot. He had served Kevin most of his life, and he had no regrets. His family was happy where they were and war didn’t break out every two seconds to preserve way of freedom. He loved the war and battles and the leading troops to well-deserved victories but things had quieted down... at least for Jupiter and Saturn.

Then the communication came in from Saturn about forcing the Crystal Army away from the Crystal Palace. “Ah, how quickly those years flew by. I guess it’s time to stir up the stasis quo. Admiral Portalis, Admiral Yamamoto, Prince General Morisato to the briefing room.” He then pushed a button to accept the communiqué. “This is General Barkonis, Canisian Dog Warrior, of the Alliance of the Holy Royal Kingdom of Jupiter. How may I help you today?”

This is Sean, Earl of Titan,” Sean stated over the comm. “I have an urgent message of the utmost importance. I have been informed of a pending recon to retrieve the stolen star seeds from the mad lunar queen. I was hoping offer my support and request the grace of the Jupiter King to join in the recognizance. Will the Jovians comply?

Natalie, Tetsu, and Morisato all walked in at the same time just as Barkonis had answered the call. “Ooh, you mean it’s time?” Morisato looked happily at the 7' 4" Canisian happily.

“Perhaps...” A tall abominable snowman looking creature walked in.

“Ah, Admiral Faalen Sy’ina I forgot to call you in.” Morisato smiled innocently at the Glacien woman.

“Save it Morisato, I’m not angry at all. I’m just ready to do my part in rescuing the past Princess of Jupiter.” She looked at her fellow leaders and waited. She was the greatest star fighter pilot in the Federation of the Guardian Republic, but that was so long ago for her. Now she was the Jovians greatest star fighter pilot.

“Earl Sean, this is Admiral Portalis. We have all the preparations in place already.” The tall female smiled sweetly to her duke counterpart.

“We are ready to go, at anytime, just waiting for the password.” Barkonis said through the comm device.

All of a sudden Aliana appeared on the view screen. “Just do it Barkonis. Your pass self never mentioned about a password.

“I’m just kidding with you Aliana. The Nadesico task-force will be arriving to pound the shields for a few minutes so the Silence Glaive can de-cloak and take care of business. After you de-cloak however, you will have only five minutes before they swarm on you.” Barkonis told her.

Wow, your tactics has spread to fleets as well it seems.” Aliana said to the General who nodded in agreement. “We’ll need to contact the Silence Glaive and let them know the plan so Natalie doesn’t get confused with what’s about to happen.”

“We have a problem though. The Jupiter Royal shuttle landed at N.T. 12 and we have reason to believe whoever it is in now in the custody of the Crystal Tokyo. Let’s hope that doesn’t compromise us as a coalition.” Natalie grabbed everyone’s attention with that one.

“Actually we can use that to our advantage. We say that person was an ambassador of Jupiter and their kidnapping in the Crystal Tokyo territories would constitute an act of war. We can engage now with what we want and little worries about the repercussions of our actions from most the other neighboring factions.” Faalen said which piqued everyone’s interest on the new development.

“Who went there though?” Natalie looked at Faalen, who only shrugged her shoulders.

“Earl Sean, whatever assistance besides this communiqué would be very much appreciated. If you need a Kanorian style fleet, we have one ready for you. If you require anything to help you accomplish what you need to get done, there will be no problem at all. We are always willing to help our allies, no matter the consequences to ourselves,” Barkonis told the Earl with every ounce of truth he had.

“The King and Queen regret what happened to Saturn so long ago, and are willing to go to any length to prove their allegiance to Saturn has always been genuine.” Faleen stepped up and told Sean and bowed deeply with respect to him.

“I thank you for your honored memory of our world’s history,” Sean replied. “I have the Saturnian fleets at my disposal. I will dispatch three of them to assist in this operation while the rest remain behind to defend our borders. Designated fleets 4, 7, and 8 will be dispatched with my friends and myself at the helms of the command ships. I’m sure the spirits of the past are rejoicing at this new alliance coming together and smile their blessings upon us.”

“Yes, our three planets have to stick together especially since the trouble that has came with the Moon Queen’s decent into madness.

“Well, now,” Sean turned and looked at his friends after the comms were closed. “My decision is made. Aliana…I will place you in command of the 4th fleet on board the command ship Silver Hawk. Ryoko, you will command the 7th fleet on board the command ship Reaper’s Due. I will command the 8th fleet onboard my command ship Rising Flame.”

“I always wanted to command my own fleet. Kevin makes it looks so easy with the Guardian Republic’s Eighth Fleet.” Ryoko smiled at the earl and her companion.

“That’s because the Eighth fleet is a trained elite force. There are very few challenges they can’t face together. Sean, it is an honor to be able to serve in such a way.” Aliana bowed and Ryoko looked over and decided to bow as well.

“I’d better brief you on the fleets,” Sean stated. “Each fleet consists of the command carrier, 2 cruisers, 2 Frigates, 2 defenders, and one stealth ship. The Reaper’s Due fleet is the only fleet where all her ships have stealth capabilities. Silver Hawk is a heavy assault fleet, and Rising Flame is a defending fleet. Either way, I chose these fleets so that we may be balanced in Combat.”

“Excellent, the more versatile we are, the better of a chance we’ll stand.” Aliana understood combat techniques thanks to all that time she spent around Kevin. “We have to get Makoto back for Kevin’s sake and the for the future of the Holy Royal Kingdom of Jupiter... and perhaps the entire Sol system.” She then thrust her arm into the air, drawing out her sword in the process.

“My people have been anxious for a fight,” Sean let up a small smile. “Ever since the Lunar Queen’s decent into madness, the air has been heavy with apprehension and animosity. I think this operation is the answer to their prayers that they have been waiting for. After all…we Saturnians were a race born for battle and victory.”

“And the Jovians will be right with you, and that means me as well.” Aliana warmly smiled and Ryoko looked at her while rolling her eyes.

“I personally would like to take a few swings at this ‘Earth Alliance’ that seems to be full of themselves.” Ryoko pointed to some of the pictures of their ships that were posted up with full battle information on them. “Must remember about them when I do become Queen of Nemesis,” Ryoko mumbled under breath.

An incoming message caught Sean’s attention, and he activated the main screen to receive.

“Hmm, perhaps we’ll find out soon what to do?” Ryoko only nodded her head to Aliana.

“Good news, my friends,” Sean smiled widely. “I just got a message via the Platinum Palace on Saturn. Hotaru has approved our movement. It is time to set the plan into action.”

“Emerald Palace on Jupiter has also acknowledged their readiness. The Nadesico, Thunderstorm, and Emerald Katana strike Imperial Guard class battleship strike groups will hit strategic locations to draw off the enemy forces. Shadow Palace has two strike groups on standby in the shadow of Luna just in case.” An aide at one of the communication terminals relayed to Sean and the two time traveling warriors. The two Senshi nodded in agreement with the statement.

“Nickolas…I leave the defense of Saturn in your hands until I return,” Sean put his hand on his son’s head. “Make me proud.”

“Right Pops,” Nick nodded. “I’ll do my best.”

“Cute kid there Sean, and he looks just like you when you were younger.” Aliana teased which brought a blush from Nick.

“Ready, my friends? Sean then turned back to Aliana and Ryoko. “To the shuttles then. They will take you to your command ships.”

“Aye Sean, however... Ryoko and I will end up using our powers to get back to the Crystal Palace when the time comes. I assume you already have commanders in place to take over when this happens.” Sean nodded in agreement and the three took off to the shuttles.

The Guardian soldiers had hid behind pillars waited for the Crystal Tokyo Soldier platoons to get within range. A fog had been cast over the battlefield thanks to Megumi’s abilities. The Soldier platoons seemed to be made up of human, not robot troops. Kevin and Barkonis motioned for the troops to set their weapons to heavy stun. As the group of soldiers stopped in front of where the ambush was to take place, Kevin smiled and yelled, scaring the Crystal Troops. He then charged while firing his rifle and the others did the same. The Crystal troops were so overcome with fear that most dropped instantly the first shots were fired. Those who tried to escape found another ambush blocking their path. The robot troops that came to back them up were cut down by the superior skill of the Star Samurai that ambushed them.

There was much yelling and screaming as the confusion fully overtook the Crystal troops. A battalion’s worth of soldiers had got caught up in the ambush. The learned the fury of a well planned and executed strategy as not one of them was allowed to escape the ambush that followed into a pincer attack. The Crystal troops were no match for the seasoned, well-trained, and battle-harden troops from the Federation of the Guardian Republic.

Kevin grabbed one of the soldiers not stunned and looked at the poor thing. The young man was no more than eighteen. He shook his head while not showing any emotion. “Call out the Sailor Senshi and your army.”

“I thought... you... wouldn’t want... them to... come out...” The boy looked like he was about to wet himself. Kevin shook his head in disappointment.

“The Crystal Army has become sad. I want the Senshi to come out to play with us. That’s my whole motivation for being here, so call them out or I will do it myself.” The kid agreed to do it and called for reinforcements and the Sailor Senshi against an unseen powerful enemy. Kevin then did the kid a favor by putting him down and stunning him. “Trust me; you don’t want to be any part of this fiasco when it goes down the young one.” Kevin and his strike group now how ten minutes before they would get their wish and draw out the Crystal Army away from the Crystal Palace.

“Fleets are positioned and ready for departure, my Lord,” The First officer announced. “We await your command.”

“Understood,” Sean sat in the command chair. “Open communiqué with the Reaper’s Due and Silver Hawk command ships. I’ll see if they are set and ready to go.” The officer saluted and executed the order. Both bridges of the corresponding ships came on the view screen.

“My friends,” Sean spoke firmly. “We are about to cross the threshold into the war zone. Are you ready to for the battle to come?”

“Let’s give ‘em Hell!” Ryoko’s enthusiasm was a help to boost morale.

“All ships, engage Hyperdrives,” Sean ordered to the fleets. “Set the coordinates to the outskirts of the Terra borders, and be prepared for anything. May the Spirits of the past be with us in battle.”

“HO!” The Saturnian crews cheered in unison as they raised their fists to Sean’s encouraging words. The Hyperdrives were activated and all ships vanished from sight, heading into the heart of the awaiting fray deep within the Lunar/Terra territory.

Part 3

Junia’s Promise

Junia’s Promise

Part Three: Stealing Back a Star Seed

The Jupiter fleet led by the Nadesico made its move towards Earth, intentionally pounding the shields for a few seconds. This caused both the Earth Federation and Crystal Tokyo fleets to turn towards the twenty ship task-force that had just completed its hit-and-run.

Just then, the Emerald Katana and Jupiter Knight strike-forces came out and did the same thing. The three strike forces then turned and made it look like they were about to run, when they split off in different directions: One towards Luna, one towards the North American continent, and the other towards the Europe side of Earth. The ships were unsure who to chase, all the mean while accusing each other of this deception. Then one ship fired... a cloaked ship hit one of the Earth Alliance ships. They started firing on the Kanorian forces and the Crystal Tokyo ships. They in turn return fire on their opposing forces, with the Lunar forces firing on both sides as well. Then the two visible Saturnian Fleets dropped out of Hyperspace right in position to help take down various space military targets.

Sean’s fleet was totally undetectable to their enemies while making sure to remain in visibility of the dubbed “Senshi Alliance” fleets.

Aliana ordered her fleet forward as Sean’s own fleet took up defensive positions around the perimeter to give Ryoko the necessary support. Aliana figured that the Megumi Chiyuno of this time probably still had some affection for Kevin. She managed to find files pertaining to the Sailor Senshi and their current positions. Megumi built Healing Castle in the Asteroid Field, and made many colonies. Megumi however used the asteroid field to make many hidden fortifications and hide her own vast fleet. She apparently was married but she always sent nice things to Kevin on his birthday. Aliana figured those defenses were to protect Jupiter and her allies from a surprise attack. The ambushers would get ambushed themselves if they tried to get past the Asteroid Belt. The Kupiter Belt protected Nemesis and Quinox from the rest of the Sol System while Pluto’s own orbit takes it very close to the belt.

It was sad that Usagi’s own madness destroyed the team work and the friendship bonds that she worked so hard to create over the years. Kevin was ready to destroy the connection that the most powerful Sailor Senshi and the most powerful Sailor Knight had as comrades. He was making a coalition to get back his wife and perhaps knock some sense into Usagi’s mind since the Nemesis invasion apparently didn’t. With so many political factions now in the Sol System, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened anyhow.

“Ryoko, nice shot!” Aliana was very happy with the confusion outpouring from the Senshi Alliance enemies.

“Thank you Aliana, the Reaper’s Due strike force is perfect for a ninja like me. It seems Kevin was sharing knowledge with Sean when they were building fleets.” Ryoko’s face appeared on the Captain’s view screen. “We are continuing our assault to sow the seeds of confusion among the enemy forces.”

“Yes, but I counted two Jupiter fleets moving in as well. I think this assault was planned even after it ended in the future by many planets. The Jovians are making sure they are being counted in the assault as well.”

“Yes, I just saw on our sensors how they came. I wonder if it’s Jupiter Knight who’s leading the assault?”

“Kevin would usually take only the Imperial Guard unless things have changed. The lead battleships are the Jupiter’s Honor and Jupiter’s Fury which seems a lot like Kevin.” Aliana watched as they engaged Earth Alliance ships that were near Mercury. They were probably hoping to draw forces away from Earth and other regions of Sol. “Our time is quickly approaching. Silence Glaive will need a few minutes to launch her shuttles so we can but a few minutes on lowering those shields. The point is not to alert Crystal Tokyo to our own presence in the Crystal Palace until it’s too late, but have the shuttles in standby.”

Ryoko stood on the bridge of the Reaper’s Due watching the confusion that had started. Ryoko ordered the fleet to attack the Starbase that Earth was using to coordinate efforts in the Crystal Tokyo area. “Aliana, even with the extra minutes, E.A. forces and C.T. forces are gathering up to get back into position here. Silence Glaive will be found out soon, but I just was told by Natalie on board the Glaive they are launching shuttles. The future Natalie is waiting for a signal from Jupiter on board the Imperial Guard to move in.”

“Right, but turn over command to the respective commanders so we can do what we came to do.” Aliana’s face disappeared from the command chair.

“Admiral, I turn command of the Reaper’s Due fleet to you. I will be using my senshi power to get myself to the Crystal Palace to do what we were sent to finish.”

The Saturnian walked up to Ryoko and saluted her. “May the spirits of the past watch over you and guide you in victory. Good luck Sailor Nemesis, Princess Ryoko. Always watch your back in that palace.”

“Thank you, that’s what I intend to do.” Ryoko disappeared into a shadow near her and she was gone off the ship.

“My Lord and Earl of Titan, Princess Ryoko has left and now I am awaiting your next command.” The admiral said after opening a communiqué with the Rising Flame.

Understood,” Sean’s face appeared on the view screen. “All three Saturnian fleets are now under my direct command. Reaper’s Due shall fall back behind the advancing defense of Rising Flame. Silver Hawk shall double up its advance and add its support to the Jovians once in range. From there stand by and maintain positions. When the time comes…Reaper’s Due will move in on Terra, and victory will be guaranteed for the allies.

In his mind, Sean said a little prayer to his friends. “Good luck out there, Ryoko-san, Aliana-san. Whatever happens down there, may our efforts bring about a good revolution.”

The Crystal Army was surrounding the Kevin’s task force within seconds. Apparently, another Guardian task-force outside of Neo Tokyo 8 was bombarding the city, placing the whole place under alert even before his little ambush of a battalion. Serenity was not taking any chances and quickly mobilized the entire Crystal Army to shut down all the entrances to the city. Most of the army was near the entrance to N.T. 8 but another three battalions ran into Kevin’s group and quickly surrounded them. As Kevin had predicted, all the Senshi Guardians were there as well, especially upon seeing Jedite and Haruka there.

“Surrender and you shall receive quarter and a fair trial, criminals of Crystal Tokyo.” Sailor Mars, Rei Hino, said to the task-force.

“Sorry, what was that? I promise I’ll pay more attention next time.” Kevin blew off Rei’s inconceivable option for the group’s surrender.

“Grrr, if you want to play hardball.” Rei started to power up a fireball in her hands.

“I knew you liked it rough.” Jedite taunted Rei who was starting to get very angry.

“What I want is quite simple. My terms are give me back my fiancee and we leave, no harm no foul. If not, I will treat you no differently than I would any other advisary. You are no better than the Dark Mage Sharline with the stunt you are pulling and I’m prepared to fight,” Kevin said which drew a laugh from Rei.

“Fine, if you want your fiancee so bad, then you got it... be careful what you wish for though.” Rei motioned Makoto to move forward that started powering up a lightning shot.

Yongsin, I will need your help more than ever this time. I know right is on our side, but it doesn’t make this any easier. Kevin thought to the elemental dragon that was in his heart... a part of his soul.

Though you are a fool of a humanoid, you need not worry good Knight. I understand why you fight this battle. As for the troops, they are the Princess of Mercury’s robot troops, which comprises a lot of the Crystal Army. Your troops will need not hold back against this force. Stand proud as you have the Dragon of Thunder with you today.

Thank you Yongsin. Let us see if we can bring back honor and glory to a once good people. Kevin’s stance turned to a Ranma style defense. He motioned to the troops to not hold back.

“Sir, is that wise?” Barkonis walked up and asked him.

“Yes, I will not concern myself over the safety of robot troops when my own troops safety means everything. ‘PROMISE OF THE ROSE’ FORMATION!!!” As quickly as the troops were lined up, they went into a circle, similar to the style of the Senshi on that forsaken asteroid when they fought against Fiore and his troops. However, the sword style troops were at the front of the circle, while the laser rifle wielding troops were behind them.

“Do you ever get the feeling that this is going to be a Star Wars style battle?” Morisato looked to Alex who only shrugged. Morisato turned to Kevin and showed no emotion. Morisato knew that when Kevin, Makoto, and himself rumbled, they would not be near the circle. The queen wasn’t around, which didn’t concern him. Usagi probably wouldn’t bother herself with medial affairs unless she was directly threaten.

“I hope Aliana and Ryoko don’t screw around with Mamoru, or this whole operation could fail.” Aries whispered to Alex, and the Russian shook his head in agreement.

“This already looks bad for home team.” Alex looked at the surrounding army and knew how precarious there position was.

“Um, technically we are the away team.” Megumi corrected Alex’s mistake and Alex nodded in agreement.

“Cousin, there is now way we will lose. Besides, if worse comes to worse... Jedite and I can combine into Jeruka.” Haruka smiled confidently while Jedite seemed to gag.

“Oh, I don’t think I want to see that one.” Dusty also seemed to gag. “I think Setsuna may try to take advantage of this situation though... but I can’t tell you what.” Dusty had a few people including Barkonis give him looks but he dismissed them.

“ATTACK!!!” Mars yelled and the humanoid looking robots charged the group.

“Time to go Terminator on them!” One of the troops yelled as he prepared to attack the robots.

“I think that’s why they’re trying to do to us!” Another one yelled back.

“Fire the lasers!” All the laser wielding Kanorian troops started to fire their plasma rifles at the almost impossible to miss wave coming right for them.

“WORLD SHAKING!!!” Haruka threw her fist towards the ground and watched the destructive ball tear through the robot ranks. “Hahaha!”

“Aren’t the Senshi supposed to do their famous taunts first?” Another soldier piped.

“Forget that, I think they may have actually learned something from all the fighting they did!” Another exclaimed as he pulled the trigger faster.

“My turn cousin... WORLD SHAKING!!!” However, unlike his cousin, he jumped high into the sky and intentionally fell towards the nearest enemy formation, causing the Earth around him to quite literally shake. The unsuspecting robots started to fall and crumble apart.

“That’s throwing your weight around.” Megumi pointed at the latest attack by Alex.

“Supreme Thunder!” In the typical fashion of Makoto, Kevin crossed his arms and built up the electricity before letting it rip into the robot army.

“Dark Thunder!” Morisato followed up with the same attack, except his thunder was a black color, instead of the yellowish-white of Kevin and Makoto’s.

“They’ll tear apart my armies at this rate.” Ami fumed and decided to take matters into her own hands. “Shine aqua... ILLUSION!!!” The ferocity of Ami’s attack would have ripped through the lines of the Kanorian’s if Jedite hadn’t stepped up and deflected the blast. However, Ami’s attack was much stronger due to the bracelets, causing Jedite to start getting shoved back.

Kevin ran over to help and put his hands forward. “SONIC SHIELD!!!” The purple glow of the shield helped ward off Mercury’s attack from hitting the group. This of course was a double edged sword as Kevin was able to block the attack but was unable to attack himself. However, with Yongsin’s help, that might not matter. It depended on how Sailor Jupiter reacted to her Jupiter Knight’s decision.

“Sparkling Wide Pressure!” Makoto wound up like she was throwing a baseball and hurled the ball of lightning at Kevin. However, the lightning ball curved and hit Rei in the chest. Makoto stood in shock of the attack’s veering and Rei struggled to get back up.

“You bitch! You’re supposed to hit them not me!” Rei cursed as she got back up.

“But I did aim for them!” Makoto yelled back, and Kevin snickered. He believed that Yongsin was laughing as well to the confusion that was caused.

Foolish females! They are unaware of my grand presence! The Dragon gloated from within.

“Just be more careful next time! We are supposed to destroy these invaders... NOT EACH OTHER!!!” Rei motioned for another unit to charge forward and they did. Kevin and Morisato both turned to Makoto and knew it was time to take her on. Kevin dropped his shield and jumped into the air and his arch-angel style wings appeared and allowed him to fly over to Makoto’s position. Morisato, on the other hand, teleported to behind Makoto and prepared his assault.

“You think this is a game?!” Makoto asked her brother as she sensed his presence. “You can’t defeat me, one of the Senshi of the Light! I will...”

“Mako-chan, I thought you were mostly action. You weren’t this much of a braggart. I see being around the mad queen has changed you... or is it those bracelets?” Kevin said as he touched down in front of Makoto and allowed the wings to disappear.

“Kev-chan... no, you are my Queen’s enemy, therefore you are my enemy.” Makoto responded and proceeded to slap Kevin across the face. The blow caught Kevin by surprise as he thought his face got readjusted three inches to the right.

“You have no idea why I am here do you.” Kevin said rhetorically to his princess, and future wife.

“You have turned against the Moon Kingdom too, just like my brother did. You want to see its destruction!” Makoto answered very defiantly as the three started to fight.

“True, I hold no love for the current direction of the Moon Kingdom; however, I am no traitor and have no intentions of taking down the Moon Kingdom. I came to get YOUR star seed, and free you from your current enslavement. I am your Knight and that’s my job... no matter who my enemy might be.” Kevin threw a roundhouse kick at Makoto but it failed to connect.

Aliana and Ryoko ended up in the main security room of the palace. They could see where the Jupiter Star Seed was placed and could restore it in Makoto. However they had to get it first without tripping any alarms. “We need to neutralize these security personnel.” Ryoko whispered.

“I’ll leave that to you. I will enter the computer and gather the required information.” Aliana whispered back. The

Two nodded and hit their fists together before undertaking their respective tasks. There were only four guards, so Ryoko knew that taking them out would be a lot easier than expected.

She went into the shadows and appeared behind the farthest back guard and hit the poor fool in the back of the neck, knocking him instantly out. She lightly laid him across the floor, making no noise and keeping the others in the dark of what had just happened. The next one did not allow Ryoko such liberties, as when she took him out, his fall was picked up by one of the two remaining guards who looked at his two unconscious buddies.

“Signal red alert in the castle, we have intruders!” He yelled to the final member of the group. However, as he yelled it, the third personal fell with a thud. The final guard ran to the console to push the button but Ryoko appeared in front of him and smiled.

“Too bad, but worry not. You’ll live to learn from your mistake.” Ryoko’s smiled made the poor man shudder as he attempted to pull out a weapon. However Ryoko was way too quick for that and knocked the man out, across the neck of course. “You’re clear Aliana, but I do not know for how long.”

“Accessing all files… Thankfully these files are actually in some kind of order, unlike Usagi’s life. Found the information... she tried to have Ami put it behind some class 4 protection folders.” Aliana’s voice said softly to Ryoko who stood there tapping her foot.

“I don’t care how she does it, or did since that’s not my cup of tea. Just tell me where I need to go, so I can get the star seed and you work on shutting those shields down so we can get the hell out of this nightmare.” Ryoko reiterated to Aliana who seemed to understand.

“I got it.” She placed it in the same room as the Silver Crystal... near the Neo-Queen’s bedchambers. Kuso! This could be a lot harder than I thought.” Ryoko’s eyes started to get big as Aliana said that.

“What’s wrong?” Ryoko looked at the computer putting out all the information to her.

“Well, it seems Usagi didn’t join her Sailor Senshi in the battle. You will probably have to get passed her... unless she’s passed out.” Aliana paused for a second which Ryoko looked at the computer funny.

“WTF?! What are you talking about Aliana?” Ryoko’s impatience seemed to be showing up.

“She’s passed out asleep still. What a lazy queen... and here I thought she had actually learned something about being royalty. This could not get any easier for us. However, we have only two minutes before the Silence Glaive decloaks and another five before it gets chased by both the Earth Federation and Crystal Tokyo fleets. You have to get that Star Seed immediately so I can lower the shields for the Silence Glaive.” Damn Haruka for spilling that beer on the one panel that was connected to all the transporters. We would only need it down for less than a minute... now we need all five for those shuttles. How can she be so careless... how could we, the Kanorians, been so careless on putting all the transporters systems to one connection point? Aliana thought as she opened the files necessary to lower the shields surrounding the city.

Ryoko appeared in the Silver Crystal room. She saw the Silver Crystal plus four star seeds. She wasn’t worried over the fourth however. She saw the emerald green crystal that belongs to Makoto. She didn’t sense any other traps around, but she had to trust the fact Aliana had managed to shut down the alarms protecting Makoto’s star seed or even her own Senshi Powers may not protect her from the trouble she might come across.

Ryoko moved towards the star seed and grabbed at it. Nothing happened and Ryoko breathed a sigh of relief only to feel another presence enter the room. She slowly started to turn around and was shocked to see who the person it was. She was thankful it wasn’t Usagi, but the person didn’t make it any easier.

“I knew when reports of Kevin’s invasion here were motivated for one purpose, but to use you to do his bidding Ryoko, I’m shocked.” Shea crossed his arms and smiled at the stunned Ryoko. She noticed that the usual gauntlets the Sailor Knights had were replaced by the Galaxia Bracelets that Usagi had used to steal her guardians’ star seeds and take them under her control.

“Shea, why...” Ryoko tried to regain her thoughts.

“Because when that Time Lord showed up with the past Sailor Senshi and Jedite, they took back Minako and that left the Venus spot opened. Usagi sought me here in your future and requested an audience with me. I was in control of protecting the orbiting Galifery Castle around Venus. She needs to replace the Minako of the past presence, so she stole my star seed. Now I lead my life in her service and I have no say and control over it. Blame Hotaru, blame Jedite... or better yet, blame the Princess I was supposed to protect. I don’t as its better me than her... and that’s what Kevin should be doing instead of his invasion.” Shea’s long winded speech almost bored Ryoko to tears as he tried to make Ryoko feel sorry it seemed.

“Well Shea, you let your guard down to the enemy... and you knew what Kevin did in the past. How could you forget what Kevin would talk about to you when we are successful?” Ryoko’s resolved tempered quickly as she planned to complete her mission.

“The problem is I didn’t forget. I’m your own worse enemy thanks to Usagi’s control. Even Sharline couldn’t do this to me or Sean when we were in his grasp. I can’t ignore my duties no matter how unjust they maybe.” Shea whipped out the Venus Sword, preparing to use it. “Sailor Nemesis, ally of the aggressor Jupiter Knight and enemy of the Moon Queen, Serenity II, prepare to defend you against the justice.”

“Please, you talk about justice but Usagi’s current rule is anything but that. I will take this star seed back to it’s appropriate owner and truly restore justice. I’m sure you know of the many fleets attacking Earth’s two factions right now. They attack because they have that sense of justice now and are prepared to restore back on Earth.” Ryoko was waving the Jupiter Star Seed when she started to disappear through a shadow when Shea took off towards her.

“Venus Love Me Chain!” Shea used the attack to wrap around Ryoko and whip her right out of the shadow. This of course caught Ryoko off guard as she dropped the star seed and tried to pick her own self back up.

Shea took advantage of the confusion to grab the star seed and run out of the room. Ryoko got back up and chased after the now running Shea. “Kuso!” She took out the comm device and pushed a button. “Aliana, we have a problem because Shea’s been turned into a Usagi zombie and has Makoto-san’s star seed. I need you to stop him so I can get it back.”

“Okay, I have you both on the security screen. Usagi’s was being woken up though so we have to hurry.” Aliana managed to erect a security force shield that Shea would not know about until it was too late.

“Gotcha so I’ll get it back here as soon as you can stop him.” Shea was on the floor with the Jupiter star seed in hand trying to figure out what just happened. Ryoko bent over and took the star seed back very quickly while smiling. “You got knocked the freak out, Beyotch.” Ryoko taunted as she disappeared through the shadows again. She was prepared this time for his attack that never came. She reappeared in the Security Room where Aliana was waiting for her. “Got the Jupiter seed right here in my hands.” Ryoko held it up and Aliana nodded while grabbing it.

“Just in case Ryoko. The shield is set to go down in ten seconds and Shea is up and very pissed. Just what did you say to him before you left?” Aliana looked at Ryoko with her arms crossed.

“Nothing much... just a little taunt. Let’s go back to Kevin before Usagi and Shea get here.” Aliana nodded in agreement and the two used their powers to leave the Crystal Palace. Just as soon as the two left, Serenity II and Shea burst into the room. The four guards were just starting to regain consciousness when the two looked around. Usagi turned to Shea and was very pissed off.

“Find that damn ninja and bring her before me... and her friends as well. I was that star seed back even if it costs me every soldier’s life! If I feel more benevolent than usual, perhaps they will spend their lives in service to me like they should be doing.” Serenity II turned around and stormed out of the Security Room. Shea shook his head and had to prepare to do the impossible. He figured by the time those two showed up, they would be with Jupiter Knight’s group and that meant going up against Jedite and Kevin. He didn’t fear Jedite since he figured him to be a washed up old ex-Dark General but he did cause all that damage in Crystal Tokyo last time. Kevin had Yongsin as his ally and that meant the power of his lightning would be far greater than even Shea’s Galaxia Bracelet powered up an abilities. He would have to outsmart the Lightning Tactician and his groups.

“What did I do in my life in the service of Kanoria did I do to deserve this?” Shea then put away the Venus Sword and called for a regiment to come with him and he charged out of the castle. The controlled Sailor Senshi were about to get some reinforcements.

Meanwhile:

“My Lord,” The regent Commander saluted Sean on the bridge. “We have reached our designated position, and are holding strong. The Reaper’s Due is preparing to descend into Terra.”

“Excellent,” Sean rose from his chair. “I will accompany the Reaper’s Due. You have the bridge of the Rising Flame Commander. Maintain the defensive grid and stand by for further orders from me.”

“Yes, My Lord!” The commander bowed respectfully as Sean turned and headed for the teleportation room.

“I hope I’m just in time for a little fun,” Sean thought to himself.

Part 4

Junia’s Promise

Junia’s Promise

Part Four: Escape from Crystal Tokyo

A female Half-Neko by the name of Ai Yuroti led a small group of Kanorian warriors up to a Kanorian style tank. Apparently, Usagi managed to get a few of these when Kevin was friendlier to her and her country. They split up and went around the plasma tank, which was oblivious to their presence. Ai took a device and ran up quickly to the tank before they would see her. She placed the device on the tank and immediately it magnetized on the tank, and it immediately lost the ability to hover and feel to the ground. Ai and her strike group climbed on top of the tank and opened the hatch with their laser rifles pointed at unsuspecting Crystal Soldiers inside. They all raised their hands in surrender and were taken out of the tank. Ai had her group tie up their prisoners and left them inside a building, while she disengaged the device she used to neutralize the tank.

When it started floating again, the task-force that had been chased away from their group, Jedite, and the Senshi, used the tank to turn around the battle’s bad tidings. It was to join the group of tanks that was to converge on Kevin’s group. The plasma tank saw the group up ahead and joined up with it as if nothing had happened. Ai watched and listened as the orders came in from Ami. She smiled and as she prepared to fire, she aimed the cannon lower at the tank in front of her and fired. It blew up in a brilliant display of sparks and fire. She then immediately ordered a full reverse of the tank while others in their confusion did the same. They started to fire recklessly hitting buildings, their own army, and tanks while Ami screamed in the comms to regain control of the confusion that had been caused. As the tanks started to move around, looking for better positioning, a couple found the anti-tank mines that General Barkonis had left behind, neutralizing or destroying their tanks.

Kevin, Makoto, and Morisato continued to battle each other in the two on one. Makoto was faster, stronger, and better due to the Galaxia bracelets which is why it took both of them to fight her. Neither were willing to take the chance that Makoto could over power one or the other, which was quite possible in her current state. They continued to assault each other with various lightning attacks and physical attacks.

“Kachu Tenshin AMAGURIKEN!!!” Kevin’s fist turned into a lightning barrage of blows to Makoto, who was knocked back by the blast. She shook her head in disgust as she stumbled back and just stared at Kevin. Morisato was hoping to blind side his sister before she recovered but he was not fast enough. She charged Kevin with both her fists cocked back.

“Is that all you got? Then try this on for size Jupiter Knight! KACHU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN!!!” Makoto’s own fist-of-fury barrage knocked Kevin back in shock. He was unsure what to make of that attack as he took it in the chest. His armor was easily cushioning the blows. Makoto’s own Senshi power though plus the extra power-up was not only preventing her fist from getting screwed up but was also doing more damage than it should even be possible. Kevin then let the notion leave his hand and not underestimate the ability of his fiancee.

Then Kevin’s shadow started to stir as well as the closest robot troop started to spark. Ryoko appeared from the shadow and Aliana appeared from the now smoking remains of the robot. They both looked at each other and nodded collectively. Aliana also flashed a smile and the emerald star seed that instantly Kevin, Makoto, and Morisato knew as to be Makoto’s.

“Nice work Aliana and Ryoko-san. I knew you both could do it.” Kevin complimented them and they both smiled again sincerely.

“That’s MY star seed.” Makoto made a dash for it and was quickly tackled by Morisato then helped by Kevin.

“And you can have it as soon as we take those forsaken bracelets off your arms.” Aliana told her as she flipped backwards away from Makoto’s extended reach.

“He question is how though? Usagi was the only one that I knew who could remove the bracelets and that was with her own power at full.” Morisato struggled with Makoto and Kevin to prevent her from moving. Ryoko was scoping out the battlefield and knew that as good as the Kanorians were, there defensive line was wearing thin. Jedite, Haruka, and Alex had all given their licks but it seemed even those three would get over ran if this kept up. Megumi was doing her best of healing the injured Guardians but even her own powers were being taxed. Dusty was having a lot of fun taking care of the enemies but he won’t be able to continue forever as well. Aries and Barkonis were successfully directing the task-force’s assaults to deal the most damage.

“This can’t keep up forever. I will do what I can to turn this battle Aliana.” Before she disappeared into a shadow, Ryoko turned to Kevin and a frown was on her face. “Kevin, Shea of the future has been turned into a Usagi zombie as well. You will do well to watch your back against him because he’s coming and Usagi-san might be as well.” She then started to disappear into the shadow.

“Thanks for the heads up Ryoko-san. Don’t stray too far, because our rides will be here soon.” Ryoko nodded to Kevin as she fully disappeared into the shadow. She then appeared behind some unsuspecting robots and troops and took them out, causing more chaos among the Crystal Army’s ranks. This in turn allowed Jedite and Haruka to concentrate on Rei with Alex and Dusty converging on Ami.

Aliana then motioned for Kevin to come over her way. Kevin got off Makoto and Aliana went to jump on to Makoto while handing him her star seed. “Put this in your gauntlet and that will prevent it from being taken.” Kevin nodded and did just that as the star seed fused with the orb inside Kevin’s left gauntlet.

“NOOOOOOOO!!!” Makoto wailed as she struggled to get to her knight but her brother and Aliana remained piled up on her. She wasn’t about to take this lying down and somehow managed to get the two soldiers off her. However, as she charged Kevin, he allowed the Thunder Spear to split into two as he spun around and fell to the ground. He then swiped at both bracelets at the same time with the spear parts. At first nothing to seem to happen as Kevin refused the spear. Then Makoto grabbed Kevin’s neck, intending on strangling him to death.

“Ma... ko... to...” He said with a tear in his eye as he prepared to accept his fate. However, just as Kevin’s eyes started to role back into the back of his head, the bracelets started to glow. Then just where Kevin had hit, two seams were formed and the bracelets fell off. Makoto’s pupils returned to her eyes and she started to look around. She was fading away again, just like when Galaxia stole her star seed the first time. Then she looked down and noticed she had a tight grip on Kevin’s neck. By this point he was about to lose consciousness when she let go.

“Kev-chan! I’m... sorry...” She fell to the ground and started to fade away. Her hand however went and grabbed Kevin’s hand though as he slowly started to come to. Morisato and Aliana both ran over to help Kevin back up to his feet but unknowing of his surroundings, he shooed them off a bit.

“Mako-chan, I... failed... you... I... failed... to... protect... you...” He said but felt the presence of her hand in his. “But even in my dreams, you still feel so... warm...”

“Kev-chan...” She said continuing to fade away.

“Um Kevin, you aren’t dreaming. That is Makoto’s hand you are hold and is fading away.” Aliana hoped that Kevin had regained enough of his senses to understand that.

“Yeah future Onii-san, Mako-Onee-chan’s hand is in your’s right now. She needs her star seed back though.”

“Can’t... she’s under... bracelets... influence...”

“Baka! Kevin, you better pull yourself together right now.” Aliana grabbed Kevin and started to slap him silly across the face back and forth. After about the fourth hit, Kevin was looking none too happy.

“Okay Mom, I’m up for school.” Kevin said sarcastically while holding onto Makoto’s fading hand still. His face was red and he looked quite upset at the situation. “Sheesh Aliana, did you have to slap me so hard...” She pointed down at the fading Makoto and his eyes started to bulge. “Mako-chan! Hold on, I have something that should cure that right up.” He immediately summoned her star seed from his gauntlet and held it next to Makoto. She fully faded however and Kevin’s eyes really got teary. “NOOOOOOOOO!!!” He screamed as he tried to make sense of why the Star Seed didn’t restore her.

He held the seed up to his face as his tears streamed down. “It still feels warm and smells as nice as her...” The star seed however left his hand and started to shine. Makoto reappeared in front of him, sitting on his lap, and smiled very warmly to him. “Seems this always happens to me... am I really a good knight?” Morisato and Aliana were about to say something but Makoto motioned for them not to.

Knight of Jupiter, doesn’t your lap feel a bit heavy? You may want to look up... Yongsin knew what was going on but was not about to come out and say it. Kevin shook his head however and that’s when his face brushed up against Makoto’s chestnut brown hair.

“Nani? What the...” Kevin looked up and Makoto was right there, still smiling at him with tears in her own eyes. No words passed between them yet and he picked up his arms and grabbed her and just started to hug her. Then the two embraced and shared in a kiss. Morisato and Aliana both looked at each other happily. But an ominous tall shadow started to loom over them.

“Oh isn’t this sweet. You remember your girl but you don’t remember your friends?” Shea was very pissed off and had his regiment ready to fire on the four. “You four have no where to run, no where to hide, but you do have the option to surrender quietly...”

Suddenly a dark looming shadow appeared over the battle area, as though something were eclipsing the sun. The Reaper’s Due fleet had entered the atmosphere and was now de-cloaking over the mass of armies. A voice of a familiar friend now filled the air;

Attention, Allied forces of Terra and Crystal Tokyo. This is the voice of Saturn’s Defense in support of the Allied Knights. We have your Airspace Secured. Should you choose to resist, prepare for the coming storm.

“The Crystal Shield is DOWN!!!” Someone yelled and that got Shea’s attention and the rest of the forces. Five Guardian Assault Shuttles came flying down and started firing on the Crystal Army. Shea’s entire group started to run as they watched the plasma tanks and robot troops get cut down by the onslaught of the shuttles. Then they all landed, threw down their back bay doors, and Kevin’s Emerald Knights and Kappa Forces started to run out with laser rifles and swords screaming commands to the remaining soldiers.

“Kuso! But I will still have my... eugh...” Shea slumped to the ground and a shadowy figure stood behind him, smiling at the group.

“You talk to much Shea, that’s why ninjas like me will always win out.” Ryoko laughed as she looked at Kevin and Makoto, now embraced in each others arms. “Kevin-sama, we don’t have too much time to get our strike-force out before Usagi can re-raise that shield.”

“Right, full evac everyone! No one is left behind!” Just as that was said a plasma tank came up and popped open the hood. Ai and her group rolled out of the plasma tank with smiles on their face. “Nice work Commander Ai. Didn’t think your plan would work but it did. Get on one of those shuttles and head home.” Ai saluted and then nodded leading her troops to the nearest one.

Kevin, Makoto, Morisato, Aliana, and Ryoko all ran to another shuttle that was nearly full and immediately the bay door closed behind them and started to take off. “Thunder Boy is on board... this shuttle is carrying the HCA!” The pilot exclaimed as he lifted off. Sean’s face appeared on Kevin’s Shuttle view screen.

The fleet, Reaper’s Due under my command will cover your escape. Rendezvous with your waiting fleet just beyond the orbital range of Terra.

Haruka, Alex, and Jedite all boarded another shuttle and started to lift off as well, but waiting just long enough for two more to jump on board before the bay door closed behind them. Megumi went to the shuttle with the most injured, hoping to use her skills to save more fallen soldiers lives. Barkonis led more troops to the fourth shuttle that Ai’s group had boarded and it lifted off.

“I have to get on one of those shuttles, or I will never get my abilities.” The girl said as she stepped away from the building that she had been using as cover. She took off her cloak and tucked it into her back pack. The last shuttle was about to close it’s bay door when she ran over to the shuttle. “Wait, wait for me!” She started waving her arms desperately trying to keep the shuttle from taking off.

“Hold on sir! The package is the last one to be picked up! Hurry Princess, we have to go now!” The shuttle started to lift off as she jumped on and caught the edge. The officer ran over and picked her up and brought her on board. “You’re safe now Lady Makoto-sama. Just sit back and enjoy the ride to the Silence Glaive.” He looked her over, the spitting image of Makoto Kino. “Package is onboard, so let’s get out of here!”

I can’t believe they think I’m Makoto... but what they don’t know can’t hurt them. She sat down between a male Neko and a female Canisian.

“You look so young Lady Kino, even for all that you’ve been through.” The Canisian said and she smiled wondering what to say to her.

“Lucky I guess?” She shrugged her shoulders and they all laughed heartily.

“Seeing your face and the Admiral’s happy face makes this all well worth it. I guess the three year war actually turned out to be the thousand year war.” One of the soldiers joked and another hearty cheer went up for Kevin and another laugh as well.

The five shuttles streamed away from the Earth just as the shield went up. The Silence Glaive de-cloaked and there was both Crystal Tokyo and Earth Alliance ships preparing to converge on them. Sean’s other two fleets had retreated with the other fleets to prepare for the Jupiter response to any allegations that the two forces might try to throw up and the Reaper’s Due had yet to reappear from Terra. The ship started to make its move away from the planet when the firs shuttle was given its clearance to land. Silence Glaive began to pick up speed though as the four and five shuttles came around. The fourth shuttle made it when the E.A. ships made it first and started to fire upon the battle cruiser.

The battle cruiser was forced to raise shields but the final shuttle was inside the shields just in time. The pilot cruised in when the ship made its turn around Earth. The shots continued to fire at the ship but the shields held under the barrage. Kevin and Makoto immediately rushed out of their respective shuttle and ran to the bridge. The girl who looked liked Makoto, when her shuttle bay door opened, managed to sneak off before anyone could tell what was happening in the hanger bay.

Upon entering the bridge, Kevin and Natalie only looked at each other to realize that Kevin was taking command of the situation. “Prepare the IP drive and target Sol. After that, bring up the Hyperdrive and the chronoshield. We will only have one chance to get away, so let’s make it good.” Makoto walked over and sat on his lap as his command chair lifted a feet off the ground and the bridge switched to battle vision.

“Activating IP drive sir!” The ship started to accelerate forward then became a blur as the IP drive kicked the ship towards Sol itself. The pursing ships then started to attack the Crystal Tokyo ships thinking the ship was C.T. and had been the one to fire upon them. That battle would continue for a while until both fleets retreated from the losses they would sustain.

The Silence Glaive disengaged the Inter-plantery Drive only to find them at a hornet’s nest. Crystal Tokyo ships from Mercury were told that the Silence Glaive was more than likely heading for the star system’s sun and decided to ambush them. However, because the IP is undetectable, they weren’t in position to take advantage of their ambush plot. Silence Glaive immediately doubled back away from the fleet, luring them away from the sun. The chased continued as they fired upon the battle cruiser but it was a nimble little ship that avoided most of the shots and was able to block the other shots.

“How long before we can start to engage the chronoshield and our Hyper drive?” Kevin looked to Commander Sundance and he made a few calculations. He then shook his head and put in a few more calculations then smiled at the results.

“Sir, we only need a minute more but we have to be much closer to Sol and aimed towards it. Slingshot won’t work if we continue to get chased away from it.” The other command officers also acknowledged in agreement.

“I understand that, so what we need to do is the Junia Slash!” The officers understood that this meant to flip the ship around and used the enemy fleet to Guardian’s advantage. The ships would be caught in the crossfire as the Silence Glaive would go in between the fleet firing it’s own shots. It’s very effective against great odds and commanders who generally not as good against those kind of tactics.

The ship made its turn and started to charge at the enemy. This confuses the enemy commander and he ordered his ships to move out of collision range of the Silence Glaive. Kevin smiled because now he would be able to use every weapon that was in his arsenal to neutralize these threats to him. As the battle cruiser went flying past its adversaries, Kevin ordered every weapon that could fire to fire. Plasma missiles, Lorenm torpedoes, and high powered lasers unleashed against the hulls of the enemy ships, causing them to become neutralize as their crews attempted damage control.

As the Silence Glaive sped away towards Sol, the other ships turned around and gave chase... a fifty on one that didn’t favor Kevin but speed was on his side. As long as they didn’t try to tractor beam Silence Glaive, there wouldn’t be a problem. However, Kevin’s worse fears were confirmed as ten tractor beams now held the ship in place. “All hands, prepare to repel borders... I repeat all hands prepare to repel borders.” Kevin was fully expected the enemy to board the ship and try to take them captive, and he would probably self-destruct the ship, but he had non-combatants on board as well as the Sailor Senshi who allied with him. “I don’t want this ship to fall into their hands, as Usagi could use it as a means to strike us in the past.”

Natalie nodded to him when Ian looked up from his own command console. “Kevin, I have hyperspace signatures appearing around the area. Huh? I don’t believe this...” Just as he spoke, the lead ship blew up and then all hell broke loose. Saturnian ships had dropped out of hyperspace and started opening fire on the C.T. ships.

“Thought you could use a hand there chief,” Sean smiled from his command chair back onboard the Rising Flame and Kevin and Makoto could only help but smile. “Can’t let you have all the fun and glory here. After all this is my time, not yours.

“Seems I once again owe you my life Sean.”

“Ah, we owe each other our lives so many times over... besides you would do the same for me anyhow Kevin.” Kevin nodded and smiled in agreement.

“My friend, you have always helped me... and for that, I am eternally grateful. Don’t think I have ever forgotten or will ever forget. See you in the past.”

“I hope Makoto-san and you make each other very happy. The sacrifices made today would be made in vain if you spend even one moment of it arguing...”

“You’re wrong old friend. Arguing is something that is common, however I assure you that no one’s sacrifice for us or this galaxy will be in vain. From those who spilt their blood in the assault against Firestar’s unified armies, Harun’s darkness, and Sharline’s attempt to make Sailor Galaxia the bearer of Chaos... and now Usagi’s own madness. Seems familiar to the reports I read on pre-Beryl Saturn.”

“Yes, those reports seem to have a lot in common.” Sean then looked away then back at Kevin. “More ships are heading this way, so if you plan on leaving, do it fast. My fleets will cover your escape.”

“Right, see you again soon...” Kevin nodded to Sundance who pushed a sequence on the keyboard. “All hands prepare to return to our original time.”

“Engaging Chronoshield... hyperdrive is coming online now!” The Silence Glaive started to become a streak of light when the new fleet came into to stop them. However it was too late and the Saturnian fleets watched as their friends made their jump. It was said that no sound penetrates space. The curse that came from the C.T. flagship was said to be heard as far as Nemesis.

“Yes chief, Godspeed to you and your crew. Plot a course for Saturn ensign. I need to make my report to Queen Hotaru on the success of our mission. Send the command to all fleets to follow suit and jump now!” The officer nodded and input some keys into the command console.

The Silence Glaive dropped out of hyperspace only to be staring down at the barrels of two Imperial Guard class battleships. The entire bridge crew looked as though they were about to defecate themselves when a picture of a blond haired, blue eyed young man’s face appeared on the communication’s display. Everyone’s eyes bulged and Kevin looked at the image curiously.

“This is the GRS Imperial Guard alongside with the GRS Nadesico to unidentified ship.”

“Um, this is the GRS Silence Glaive so would you mind not firing on us.” Kevin looked as if he would turn as white as a sheet if that didn’t work. The face changed from a serious look to one of laughter.

“Kevin, it has been too long since I’ve seen my older brother. It’s good to see you again.”

“Tyler, you crazy son-of-a-gun, it’s good to see you my younger brother. But I have a question.” Everyone breathed a sigh of relief seeing another Junia at the other end of that com-link.

“Sure, go ahead and asked.”

“That’s Kevin’s brother?” Ian looked at Natalie who just smiled at Ian.

“Yes Ian-chan, that’s Tyler Junia.” Aliana hugged her fiancée fiercely, which caused Ian to blush and turn back to his control console.

“Ahem!” Ian coughed trying to regain his stone cold appearance, but failed miserably. “I’m…glad to have you back safely Ali. I was…worried…”

“Which bridge are you on?” Kevin’s eyebrow raised up as he looked at his brother. Makoto looked at the two brothers and noticed many of the similarities between the two.

“Oh, I thought you would ask that question. I’m acting Captain of the GRS Imperial Guard until you and your command crew returned back to the present. That also means I’m acting Admiral of the Eighth Fleet but I relinquish both to you now that you are here.” Kevin was about to say something but Tyler once again intercepted his older brother. “I tried to contact you before you left but I was too late. I was told by Captain Stefanie about your plan to go to the future so I came immediately to assume command of the fleet before the future Moon Queen had a chance to send a spy to take command of your fleet.” Tyler smiled and Kevin nodded his approval. “By the way, were you successful in getting back my future sister-in-law?”

“I’m right here Tyler-onii-san.” Makoto moved a little and started to wave with a big smile on her face. Tyler’s face seemed to beam even brighter, knowing that his future sister was safe in Kanorian custody.

“Another victory for the Guardian Republic it would seem. A battle for love is the greatest battle we and probably most honorable we can fight. Kevin and... oh mirada, I don’t know how to pronounce your name future sis.”

“Ma, ko, to. It’s similar in pronunciation to that of Spanish, Onii-san.” Tyler blushed as he felt like an idiot on how easy her name really was.

“Makoto, what does it mean though?”

“In English terms it translates to Sincerity.” Kevin quickly interjected making some of the bridge members laugh.

“Ah, what a beautiful name that is...”

Tyler, don’t be trying to smooth talk my fiancee over there. I will beat your ass if you do...”

“Hahahaha, I believe it to after the stunt you pulled just to get her back.” Tyler’s face showed his fun loving attitude, somewhat different from the more serious but happy-go-lucky brother of his.

Tyler, I’m going to hold a little party and I would like my youngest brother to be there with me and my family...”

“So no more, it would be my honor to join you and Makoto. To finish my earlier sentence, may the two of you share many blissful years together. Hate to see another Anri incident...”

TYLER!!!”

“Sorry bro, didn’t mean to bring that up. See you back at Earth.” Everyone nodded and Tyler’s face disappeared.

“He looked like he was enjoying that bridge.” Makoto just shook her head at Kevin’s comment and left it at that.

Kevin opened up a bottle of Rythin Whiskey and poured a bottle of it into Haruka’s beer glass. “Haruka, I know you can hold your liquor but this is the fifth most potent in my galaxy. If you drink it too fast, it is said to mess with your physiology.” Haruka looked at Kevin then looked at the drink and cautiously took a sip. She knew when to head Kevin’s warnings.

Zeus bounded back and forth looking for Aries. If he had looked at the table with Barkonis, Natalie, Faleen, and Carlos, he would have noticed that she was having a nice conversation with them. Hotaru was with Sean, Carlos, and Ranma talking about a variety of topics. Tyler, Morisato, Makoto, Dusty, Aliana, Ian, Megumi, and Ryoko were trading hugs and laughs.

Akane walked up to a group of soldiers who nodded at her politely. They started discussing different fighting styles and showing each other some moves. Jedite decided to have a little fun with them by creating a small explosion between the group, knocking them all down. He was laughing at his latest handiwork until Alex picked him up and then he started to sweat a little. “It would behoove you not to pick fight with Kanorians and Akane. The bot you created in Rei’s imagine already has beaten you before. Adding Akane to list of girl’s who have kicked your ass would not do well for pride.”

“Bah! I fear no woman!” That was until Alex held up a picture of Jedite trying to put out the fire on his rear end after Rei had toasted him good with her fire. “What would it take to get rid of that little piece of blackmail material?” Alex smiled and knew that Jedite would be a little more cooperative in the future.

“Kuso, you mean I missed the whole thing?” Katori Kaioh asked Dusty who only nodded his head. Katori then kicked a can which ended up hitting his sister Michiru. Michiru turned around and scowled at Katori and Katori immediately ducked away.

“How can he be so uncultured? He must be hanging around that big brute of an uncultured fake wrestler Alex.” Alex heard this and rolled his eyes at the poor comment. The Russian Bear wasn’t about to get into it with Michiru again.

Minako walked up to the where the party was being held at and when she saw Makoto, her genkiness kicked in. She ran up and literally jumped into Makoto’s arms to hug her. “MAKO-CHAN!!!”

Makoto was caught off guard, as were the others around, but never-the-less returned Minako’s hug. “Minako-chan!!!”

“I’m glad you are safe! I thought the Queen had stolen my best friend’s star seed!” Minako let go of Makoto as everyone was still staring at her.

“Yes, but thanks to all my friends, family, and my fiancee, I will be able to enjoy a freer lifestyle but I must accept my full responsibility as the Queen of Jupiter.”

“So how was it for you two to work for a mad Queen like that?” Tyler looked at the two Senshi, who then looked at each other then looked at Tyler again.

“I wouldn’t say mad, more like paranoid. She was afraid everyone was going to take her precious King away from her.” Minako’s answer would have sufficed for Morisato but then Makoto look showed there would be more.

“Her actions of not being so benevolent after the Nemesis affair and her paranoia are what will end up driving Mamoru away from her anyhow. She became so damn lazy that I don’t know how we still existed. The Nemesis affair allowed most of Earth to break away from Crystal Tokyo and form the Earth Alliance. Ryoko was reinstated as Queen after the Dark Moon family was absorbed into the Nemesis ranks.” Makoto’s incite caused Tyler’s eyes to get large in disbelief that the good person Usagi that he had met had fallen so low. Ryoko now understood her own destiny and shook her head at it.

“Perhaps we shouldn’t discuss this anymore, since this should be a festive occasion.” Ian suggestion settled well with everyone, especially Tyler, since his image of Usagi had just been shattered.

“Ah, what would I do without you Ian?”

“Perhaps you would end up getting with Sean?” Ryoko teased Aliana and this caused Ian to fume a bit. Megumi giggled while Ian had this look of irritation on his face.

“Whoa! Hey!” Sean grimaced.

“Shadow Princess, you would do well to watch those comments,” Ian retorted as he passed a dark glare at his “other”.

“I forgot, you and Sean are still not on speaking terms.” Now Dusty was laughing pretty loud and the others were smiling at the joke. Before anything else could be said, Kevin walked up to the group with a smile on his face looking back at the now passed out Haruka.

“Lightweight...” He muttered as Jedite, Alex, Hotaru, Sean, Ranma, and Carlos all came up behind him laughing at Haruka’s downed figure.

“I’ll have some of what she had there lightning boy.” Jedite held up the bottle of Rythin Whiskey and took a drink from it. He started to swagger around swishing the bottle around in a near drunken stoop. The others started to laugh at Jedite thinking about how a 10,000 year general should easily be able to hold his own when it came to the alcohol.

“One of the five Dark Generals of queen Beryl and he got drunk off a little alcohol. That’s got to be very embarrassing.” Ranma pointed at the bottle that Jedite some how managed to keep a hold of. “Oh isn’t that supposed to be extremely potent?”

“Yep, that would be the most famous out of all the alcohol we have in our repertoire.” Carlos slammed Ranma in the back, which caused Ranma to give off a little puff of air.

“I see not everything has changed ever since Usagi-chan left.” Hotaru took a seat near Makoto and Minako, who still seemed to have a lot of energy between the two of them.

Kevin jumped up on a podium type platform and looked around with that same goofy grin on his face. “May have everyone’s attention? Good, I have some things to say before we continue this party. First, to my Emerald Knights, Star Samurai, and Soldiers that accompanied my fellow Senshi and I... thank you and I have something special planned for you. That small group will become the first of a new group, a new special unit to carry us into the new age. You will become Jupiter Knights... not in the sense that I am, but in the sense that you will be ordained in the armor of Jupiter and become the units to protect the Royal family: Makoto, Morisato, and myself included.”

“Sir, we’ve had your back since the beginning and there is now way we refuse this honor to continue that tradition.” One of the soldiers stood up and proclaimed to the rising cheers of his comrades.

“Thank you, as it makes me fell better to hear that from you. Next I want to say thank you to the Senshi and Knights who put their lives on the line for Mako-chan and my rescue of her. Without your help, the star seedless Senshi would have repelled and quite possibly captured us in our attempt to free Mako-chan.” Once again more cheers went up as the Senshi and Knights involved stared high-fiving each other. “I also want to give thanks to Hotaru-onee-chan and my brother in arms Sean. Without their help, this mission could have been a major bust.”

“Chief, what are you talking about? I was here in Tokyo the whole time when you were crossing time.” Sean looked around while everyone shook their heads in disbelief.

“Sean-chan, I don’t believe we will know the extent of our own involvement until later on during the Crystal Tokyo future. Kevin-onii-san, whatever it was we did, I’m glad we could be of service in your quest.”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right, little cousin,” Sean grinned. “Heh, guess I must be quite the hero.”

Hotaru’s warm smile made Kevin feel even better as he turned his attention to Makoto.

“Mako-chan, could you please come up here.” Makoto nodded and straighten out her emerald green dress. She walked up the short way to get to where Kevin was standing with a beautiful smile on her face. She seemed to glow with radiance around her. When she got to Kevin, she was a bit startled when he grabbed her by the waist and pulls her closer to him. He then put his arms around her and started to kiss her. Makoto then shared in the embrace as the two kissed with all the love in the world. Everyone started whistling and cheering and the couples of the group started sharing in an embrace. Soon Makoto and Kevin would be married, prepared to step to their destiny together.

In the back of the party, a figure in a cloak watched the evens transpire. She put up the hood over her pony-tail before anyone could notice, turned around, and walked off. “So this is what the past is like. I have a feeling things will be very interesting, and I can finally fulfill my destiny as well. The problem is I can’t use the Silence Glaive as my home so I will have to confront them soon.”
